We had an intense windstorm yesterday that started the night before. We lost power at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday morning and it wasn't restored until 3:30 p.m. Sleeping and reading wasn't exactly how I expected to spend my Saturday but there were people much worse off than I. Delta (about 15 miles from where Eli and I live) had severe flooding and a woman in Washington died when a tree fell on her.
I'm glad it's all over and the fall-out wasn't worse.
But you know what? My sense of time is all fucked up. It feels like it should be afternoon or evening. I think part of that is because Eli had to get up at 3:00 a.m. this morning to work a bit from home. Everything just feels off.
