Owie

Actually, the root canal wasn't bad at all. The dentist was so generous with the novocaine that my cheek is still slightly numb. The tooth is a wee bit sore and sensitive but not enough to take any of the Tylenol 3 that I have (well, maybe one). I still have to go back (next Friday) for the final packing, etc. but I'm not worried about that at all. I'm also getting two wisdom teeth extracted (the last two, yay!) and a cavity filled. Yet another fun-filled day, eh?

Thanks to Shelley for her well wishes and for linking to a good article describing root canals. It's always great when I know what's going to happen. And my dentist was impressed that I took the time to look it up and knew what was going on.
